As one of 10 children of Mexican immigrants, Alicia started sewing her own clothes at age 16 to save cash. She turned her hand me downs into original outfits, and dressed up differently every day, striving to stand apart from the cookie-cutter punk rock scene she was surrounded by.

She got tons of attention, negative and positive, so she one day wrote the words ’Stop Staring!’ in black marker on the back of a skirt made out of a shower curtain and her brand name was formed. As a student at CalState Fullerton Alicia was a big part of the music scene, hanging out with No Doubt and Sublime in their early days.

When she heard The Cramps were playing at the Hootenanny Rockabilly Festival, she set up a booth to sell her dresses and was an instant hit. Soon her fun sewing ‘hobby’ had turned into such a profitable business that her accounting teachers encouraged her to drop out of school to pursue fashion design full time, which she did with relish. As her business expanded, so did her figure, which is why Stop Staring!

Clothing’s sizes go all the way up to 26. As she became more voluptuous, Alicia honed her skills in custom-tailoring clothes to show off feminine curves, flatten bellies and flatter all sizes. She works hard to make sure that all her designs have classic fit, timeless style and flawless construction so anyone who wears them will feel confident and empowered.

The pin up and retro dresses are based on 1950s dress designs, created with a modern feel for a truly one-of-a-kind creation. In each piece you’ll notice a hint of the cheeky seduction that Hollywood icons such as Betty Grable, Jayne Mansfield, and Marilyn Monroe made popular. Each dress is cut and designed to show off your body and enhance your natural assets, giving you the confidence you need to look and feel your best.

Some of the most popular dresses at Glamour Bunny come in basic black and have a sensual silhouette that isn’t overly revealing but still shows off any woman’s sexiest assets. The Joan Dress in black is perfect for the woman who wishes she could dress like Joan Holloway of Mad Men, with three-quarter sleeves, a boat neck line, soft and stretchy cotton fabric, and a 1960s-inspired silhouette.

For a little black dress that’s a little more revealing, the Lapel Dress is available in black or yellow and gives you the perfect Dita Von Teese look with its halter neckline and color coordinated belt with a white buckle.

If you want a 1950s-inspired pin up doll dress in adorably fun colors, the Strawberry Cream Dress is perfect for you with its strawberry print flowing skirt, green belted middle, and white top with a halter tie. For a less innocent, purely seductive style, check out the Tiki Temptation Dress, with a halter top and below-the-knee pencil skirt available in red or leopard print.

For fierce pastels that can be dressed up or down, the Wicked Wendy Dress is a fitted spaghetti strap dress available in pink, green, or lilac.
